Day trip to Philadelphia and the Frida Kahlo Exhibition

It was a gorgeous Saturday, so we decided to drive up to Philadelphia, about an hour and forty-five minutes north on I-95. There was a Frida Kahlo exhibition happening at the Museum of Art, and since we didn’t get to see it in Mexico City last year because of all the crowds, we thought this was a great opportunity.

We started out at around half-past 8 (with a 7 minute stop at Dunkin Donuts - black coffee and a chocolate glazed donut), and got there close to 10am; parking was a little tough right around the museum because there was a race that had just finished, but we found a spot ($5 parking fee, not too bad). Our timed ticket was for 11:30am, so we wandered around the museum for a little bit.
